Multi-Family Residential Projects

Magnolia Village

CCE provided civil engineering services for this 44 unit condominium project in Oxnard. Our work included grading design, utility design, and hydrology / stormwater treatment design. Challenges on this project included the lack of underground storm drain to connect to, as well as extremely shallow sewer connections which created challenges with onsite sewer as well as generating required clearance between sewer and water lines. We were able to solve these issues by creating a site underground 3-D model of all utilities to identify potential clashes prior to construction.

Brynhurst 41

CCE Design Associates provided civil engineering design services for this 5 story apartment building in southwest Los Angeles which has since been sold to the City of Los Angeles as supportive housing. Our scope of work included grading plans, utility plans, and LID plans for stormwater treatment. Additionally, we assisted the owner in obtaining service through LADWP. Similar to other projects in the city core, the lack of available open space made stormwater treatment a challenge on this site due to stringent standards of the City of Los Angeles LID permit. We were able to handle this project through deep infiltration by use of a drywell.

5 Story Drona Apartments

CCE Design Associates provided civil engineering design services for this 5 story apartment building in southwest Los Angeles. Our scope of work included grading plans, utility plans, and LID plans for stormwater treatment. Additionally, we assisted the owner in obtaining service through LADWP.

Similar to other projects in the city core, the lack of available open space makes stormwater treatment a challenge on this site when being held to the stringent standards of the City of Los Angeles LID permit. Our strong water resources capabilities give us substantial ability to be creative as we look to design projects in the most economical manner possible.
